Engulfing candle
A candle whose body fully covers the prior candle's body. Bullish or bearish by direction.
Bullish engulfing: green candle body fully covers prior red body. Bearish: red covers prior green. Clean engulfs at the end of a pullback inside a trend are higher-quality. Engulfings in the middle of a range are noise.
